I wont sign up until time gets a little closer..... I just ordered a brand new motor with all the works on the way. Found out today after taking my quad to the shop, the motor is toast. The valve spring broke, floated a valve, the valve dropped into the motor and started doing some jumping jacks. It cracked both cases, the clutch, the cylinder, the cams, everything is a goner. Depends on when it arrives and gets put into the quad, we'll see if I can get it done in time. If I go, I will ride with the ute.... I am just not into riding quite that fast unless its a race, dont feel its safe, especially given the dust and not knowing whats around the corner....

Well Z, when you take your skirt off and wanna push the limits, let me know. Ive done this ride twice and its not THAT scary to go fast.

I guess it doesnt matter if people sign up or not. If you want to go, show up. If not, dont.

taylor, its not that.... I only got into racing because I like to ride fast. And to me, doing so in an racing environment is safer than in public. That's just my opinion. Either way, given 95% of my riding is all racing, its nice to ride a tad mellow and smell the roses once in a while. Either way, I will sign up once I get closer to date in regards to the motor situation....

That sucks about your motor Z. At least you have the financial ability to get another one sooner rather than later.

Good Luck

ryan, yes it would be a long walk, lol... That's why we are all in it together...

That was the first time it broke down in over two and a half years (except for a flat tire or two). Surely caught me by surprise....
