Log Corral/Sycamore Creek Combo Ride 01-30-10

Canceled

Stage here at 7:00am N33 40.195 W111 29.743 ride at 7:30am

We'll ride Log Corral Canyon to Bartlet Reservoir an out and back ride of 18 total miles.

Head back towards the trucks to Mesquite wash and try to make our way North to a loop that I did 2 years ago that is a lot of fun. Last time we did the loop, we were able to ride through the Dos S Ranch,..as far as I know it has been locked up,....so we'll try a different way around to make the loop.

Total miles for the day will be around 60.

Log Corral is pretty rocky and will have water running and mud
Sycamore will have a couple nice hills and water crossings
There will be 6 miles of pavement on this ride

You have been informed of trail conditions

Check your ride over good, bring tools, tire repair kit, lunch on the trail.
Sign up for a full day of fun

Just a little fyi..we got kicked out of sycamore creek today because of the flooding. Theres a lot of water down there and is pretty deep in spots. it was flowing where i would feel safe doing it, but any faster and id think twice. The gates are now locked, id otn know how long it will be closed for either.

I need a snow ride and this sounds like it won't have any, so maybe next time around unless nothing else pops up.

If the Bee line is open next weekend, you can hit Four peaks and get all the snow you need for sure, ...bring a shovel
