I'm afraid its against the rules now to have any fun.

We have a couple of guys that are very sensitive about the quality of there machines, or lack of.

Hope this don't set them off. I didn't mention any names.

I've just come back from fishing in the boat. I caught nothing but my mate got a sack load. Turns out he had fresh bait and was up with the play. Me however was foolish, I used the same old stuff I tried last time that was no good then. To make it worse the old bait had gone rotten. I think I will be smarter next time and try lures because with bait I just can't seem to master it like some. Anyway getting back to the topic, 4x snatch blocks, a couple of strops and 5 to 10 shackles are a must if venturing out alone:D.

When I was a young man I fished on a sainer, I was the youngest on the ship, but I was also the smartest. It did not take long for me to teach them that I was the dumbest of the crew. The navigator for what ever reason took me under his wing and got me on a new ship. I learned that if you have a good compass you will always know right direction. Its always good to have some sort of instrament with you so you know where you have been and where you should be.

IMO....I dont care what anyone else decides to buy and ride, they are the ones that have to live with their choice.

I will be the last one to put someone down just because of their preference. If we all bought the same exact same rides we would not have jack-squat to talk about.

Lets just ride and have some fun.

WOW....I feel better now..Now would you all meet me in the giant tent for the rest of the revival :D:D:D:D.

Sounds like you will never be a master baiter like your buddy! I am just going to leave the "sack load" and the fact that your buddy was "up with the play" alone. I love to fish, and have made alot of money at it over the years. Those are all terms I am not familiar with. Better luck next trip mate...................

Where I live it's only a minutes walk to the beach and you can catch a feed in 1/2 hour or so surf casting but the father in law has a near new 22 footer to get us were we need to be. Summer time is fill on and this time of the year we try and get out at least once a month, but with the shocking weather it's near on impossible. NZ is a fishing paradise that I would swap for your tracks and trails for half the year no worries. You can't have the best of both worlds though.
Cheers Mike.

Carry and extra drive belt and a throttle cable...if either breaks you are going nowhere....make sure you have the tools to change them as well....it's easy
