Dumb question, but I see Jerome on there. Are we eating in Jerome? Or eat on the trail?

If our 3 1/2 day quad adventure in California don't beat me up too bad this coming weekend, I'm in. This one sounds fun , especially # 3 & 4[:p]
I might even attempt to pry my 18 year (Jeff Jr) away from his female friends to go on this ride.[:0]

Thanks for posting this ride!
We are riding in the San Bernadino Mtns (I don't know CA that well) RoyD, Zane (zzz), Bob (ballbearing) & myself are hooking up with about 4 riders from CA. We are riding in a few areas, one is called Cactus Flats. From what I understand this place has boulders, stream crossings, hill climbing, riding the mountain crests at 8000 feet. About the only thing missing is Hooters for lunch![:p] We are also riding two trails on Sat called Cleghorn & Ridgeview. I have ridden these before and they are scenic with some very challenging obstacles along the way. Yabbadabbado!!!

(sorry Steve, I didn't mean to hi-jack your post)

EBT, Jerome is at the bottom of the map. It is had to see due to the color of the map. Plan on eating on the trail. Somewhere around White Horse Lake or JD tank. (midway down on the west side.

It should be a fun ride. Now if we can find a bypass around the 9 miles of pavement. :D

There would be nothing better than to bypass Jerome, but... If time permits we will check out the only possiblilty. The Power Line road a few miles before jerome. The problem is getting accross the Verde River and crossing private property. The lady who owns it is not ATV friendly.

Mule,
Man thats a big box! If you havent done a 100+ mile ride before make sure you bring plenty of food, fuel, and check the ride post pretty well. The group of guys going is a great group to ride with, you just need to be ready for a lot of miles.

Here is what happened when I had to much weight on the back of my Grizzly. [:0][xx(] Now I carry the 30lb. gas pack on the front, or at least most of the time. :D[:p]

Yeah, i used to have a large wood box on mine. Then saw the light. Most Quads have a high center of gravity any why and tipping can happen to anyone. But there is no reason to make it higher if you do not need to.

When i said bring everything, I did not mean the kitchen sink.
