Sweet ride. That looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Tires.

I'm running 38.7" military Michelin XMLs on my Lexus. Playing on rocky trails has almost always had someone in a group rip up a sidewall on AT or MT grade tires. I've put these through hell, and even if I manage to push in the sidewall and lose all of the air in the tires - its almost impossible to tell the tires are at 0 psi and I could still drive home even if they were.

Tough call on the choices... They all work together in a synergistic way (I know, big word). I think it also depends on what you plan to do with it. Like mud... if I was just going to play in the mud, tires would be the most important mod. For rocks, you have to have some clearance with your suspension, but sticky tires for traction and also height. Armor is critical so you dont bash up your junk (ask me how I know!)... Then, you put on larger and heavier wheels/tires and now you are busting axle shafts, and also need lower gearing. Its never ending! I guess thats why an offroad vehicle is rarely "done."
