Black Canyon to Bumble Bee To Turkey Creek Ride

*The times shown may change, depending on DST settings
Who's Invited: Experienced Riders
Distance: 50+ Miles
Speed: Fast

The plan is to meet this Saturday February 5th at 9:00am at I-17 and Black Canyon City Exit 244. To get there take I-17 north to Exit 244 in Black Canyon City. The exit is approximately 10 miles north of Anthem. Turn left under freeway and park on your left for everyone to meet. Staging area is two miles down the road. We will ride Maggie Mine Trail and then take the "Secret Wash" north to the "Secret Waterfall" and petroglyphs. On the way back we will ride through Cleator to Turkey Creek (Black Canyon), crossing the creek at least 15 times back to staging area. I traveled along this trail last weekend and the water was flowing good and was pretty deep in places. Bring enough fuel for 75+ miles and food. We will probably meet up with the group riding on the "Anyone Riding Feb 5th Ride", I just like to stage at the Black Canyon location instead of Bumble Bee and we will be riding at a faster pace. It's an extra 5 miles of riding both ways and there is access to Black Canyon Creek along the way. If interested, call or text Scott at 602-722-2724.

Cuz I have an agreement with the house that every other weekend is it.

I think there might be a few other factors in there.

That's funny.......like maybe a 150 miles and a few boulders, snow, ruts in between!

keep it going...like losing the group at the staging area, losing the group along the trails, other riders not prepared for the ride, missed turns, crashes, etc.

I'm waiting for "alien landing slowed us down" line
