Default Agua Caliente staging question
Is anyone out there familiar with Agua Caliente extension rd. I would like to stage on the east end but the first 1.1 miles are on State Trust Land. Does anyone know if there is room for a truck and trailer to stage after the first 1.1 miles when the road crosses over to BLM land? I do not have a Trust Permit.

Not sure where blm starts and state land stops but there are lots of places to stage along Agua Caliente Rd.

Perhaps you already have a map of the area with the land ownership on it. BLM sells one for $4. It's a bit large scale, but also is good for planning the day. My experience is that there are plenty of places to stage once you make your way around the natural gas pumping station. I think there is a place on the south side of the road just past where the gas line crosses A/C rd if you want to hit dirt ASAP. I also like staging at the base of 4th of July Butte. The drive is a bit longer. 4th of July wash is great and takes you towards the RR tracks and big mtns. Loops are possible from there.
