Just a day trip, although If I did camp, I'd stage off of Cherry Rd and 169 and ride through Jerome.

I see you live in Chandler, I take it you will be heading there early Saturday morning then, correct? Also, I see you say you ride an ATV, will you be riding one that day?

Yes I ride a Can Am 650 Outlander quad, and will be leaving Chandler by at least 4:45 am.

Wish I could go, Williams is an awesome place to ride through in the summer. Look forward to your write-up and pics.

Ok. Last question. Is the ride going to be on trails or on Forrest roads and real roads, etc?

You have to be street legal & street registered for this ride.
Actually, for any long distance ride in Arizona you need to be street legal & street registered so you should just get it done. Only costs an extra $4.00 registration after you get the $25 OHV sticker (required in AZ) IF you register the quad as primarily off road. Of course you need the minimum liability insurance and required equipment.
Once you are legal, it really opens up a lot of riding opportunities...

Well if that is the case I guess I would not be able to make it. Thank you for saving me a ticket. Lol

its as easy as a trip to mvd and emissions and a call to your insurance carrier. you need it. otherwise there are very few loops available.
i do the street legal primarily offroad on all my stuff. though ive never been pulled over on a ride.

1st, haven't even received my plates from when I purchased ATV two weeks ago, and second, I heard the raptor barely passes emissions as is, I plan on adding a new slip on and it just seems like added stress I don't need. You know? But thanks for the advice

i also give advice for passing emissions.....less than a buck at walmart.
as for the pipe.....stock raptor=rich, aftermarket pipe=better air flow, better air flow=leaner

Just get it legal in your own time,...plenty of riding for winter months to come.
